Hi everyone~! I have the most delightful polish to show today :) Dannii is from Zoya's Initimate collection which was released earlier this year as part of the spring collection. This shade of purple is more cool toned and not normally one I prefer - I like my dark and vampy purples, I do :P However, the beautiful silver flecks really drew me in and I gave in to purchasing this.
Dannii definitely doesn't disappoint (how's that for alliteration? :P)! I love the lightness of the purple with the cool shade, what a perfect combo :D
What do you think of this polish - hot or not? :)

Edyta, you beauty ♥
Hello~Just a quick and simple post before I head for the books again :). This is two coats of Zoya Edyta and it's a glorious dark, mossy green with golden flecks swimming in it. It was lovely to apply and even more lovely to wear on my nails ^^ Ahhh, I love each and every one of my Zoyas.
A true beauty to behold ♥ What do you think? :)

Faye, oh Faye ♥
Hello~ Zoya Faye, which is part of the Sunshine collection, was part of my recent ebay haul and one of my most anticipated polishes from the haul. So naturally it was the first one I popped on :P. The polish is so hard to capture, what with the great abundance of gold flecks. Love the gold flecks though, and dimmer lighting my mani actually looked gold rather than pinkish mauve, which is the base colour of the polish.
What do you think of this polish? It's definitely my favourite from the collection and I'm glad I caved and purchased it! :D

May haul
Hi everyone~ Yes, this is finally another haul post! I really haven't been feeling the nail polish collections since China Glaze's Anchors Away collection which I hauled waaay back in February. However, a few weeks ago I found a seller on ebay who sells Zoya polishes at a pretty reasonable cost and combined with cheap shipping costs, who can pass on that? :)
I also found Essence polishes being sold in Target awhile ago and couldn't resist getting Choose me hehe.
Zoya Dannii, Faye, Ivanka, Gemma, Mimi
Viva la nails also offered some full nail water decals for bloggers to review. I received the following sample pack~ I'll have a review of one of the decals up soon! :D
What do you think of the recent nail polish collections? Anything I missed and should be looking out for? :)

When you're in a rush...
**Thank you blogger, for eating this post up :(. At least it wasn't totally deleted though...**
Hey everyone~ Suede/matte polishes are such useful polishes when you're short for time. They dry extremely quickly and are pretty easy to apply.
Below I have two coats of OPI Lincoln park after dark suede and Zoya Harlow.
Wanting to spice things up, I then added some nail stickers I received from Born Pretty Store.
I finished the mani with a top coat to protect the stickers. Unfortunately they didn't stay on too well this time. This mani didn't even last a day without some of the stickers falling off.
What do you think? Do the polishes look better suede/matte or glossy? ^^ And have a look at my Thank you-Sorry giveaway :) here if you haven't already!

Crystal mattefied
Hey everyone~ I'm so happy that it's finally my break period, I can actually stop and take a breather now, yay! :)
I have previously shown Zoya Crystal on my blog and it's such a gorgeous polish that I wanted to try it out matte. Apologies for the tip wear and lobster fingers - my parents took my camera away for the weekend and I'm left with an old camera at home, hehe.
I thought it'd be one of those polishes which would look brilliant matte since it has such lovely copper flecks but looking at it, I reckon glossy looks so much better. What do you think?
Have a look at my Thank you-Sorry giveaway :) here if you haven't already!

Another patchwork mani
Hey~ :) I was out of creative juices the other night but was in a mood for nail art so I based my mani on the patchwork idea by the awesome Erika over at Chloe's Nails.
I applied two coats of Zoya Gloria then taped off my nails before applying one thicker coat of Spotsgirl Galaxy. The polishes were reversed on my fourth nail. I'm sitting on the fence with this mani, I don't love it, but don't hate it either :S. What do you think?

Review: Zoya Valerie
Hey all~ I have received a few requests in my giveaway form to post more review-like posts, so here's my first attempt. Let me know what you think of it, anything to add/take away?
Today I have for you another polish from Zoya's Flame collection. Valerie is an extremely pretty purple with copper- gold flecks suspended in it which unfortunately does not show up on the nail. While I am an avid purple lover, I can't seem to love Valerie too much :(. It's such a shame since it receives so much love from bloggers (and hence me purchasing it) but idk, the lack of copper-gold flecks on the nail just makes me so, so sad.
Photo was taken indoors with flash which is the only way you can see the copper-gold flecks.
I wore this polish last week while I was away on a conference camp and could not believe the amount of chipping I was getting! I didn't expect it to stay perfect, but my nails looked absolutely atrocious by Friday and I didn't even do much with my hands except for showering...no activities, no extra stress on the nails, nada! Perhaps this may have something to do with the Zoya formula and it's ability to work well with other top/base coats? :S
Application: 8/10
Chipping: 4/10
Price: 7/10
My giveaway will be closing tonight at 23.59 GMT+10 so if you haven't entered already, click the link! :)

Crystal, the mermaid?
Of all the gorgeous polishes there are out there, I think this is a must have. Zoya's Crystal was the stand out from their Flame collection and I'm so glad I caved in to buy this. I'm not big on blue polishes, but boy is it worthwhile to get your hands on this beauty!
I applied three coats of Crystal and sealed it with a top coat. Photo was taken indoors under natural light.
If you think this is a stunner from the photo, I highly, highly recommend you purchase this polish. It's soooo beautiful and looks a hundred times better in real life. Can you tell I'm in love? :P The copper flecks are amazing and gives the polish such a mermaid-y look.

Zoya - Tiffany
Woo, another polish from Zoya's latest Flame Collection :). Tiffany is a pretty peachy pink shade filled with gold glitter throughout it. This was two coats with non chip top coat. Photo was taken indoors under natural light.
My mum has actually taken my camera overseas for the rest of the month so until she gets back, photos will be lower in quality.
Check out my giveaway here! Ends tonight at 23.59.

Glorious Gloria
Lame title, but I like alliterations :P.
Today's NOTD is a wonderful polish from Zoya's recent Flame Collection. I'm really in love with this polish and it's such a beauty, especially under the sun ^^. Gloria is a pretty, medium red jelly polish with gold flecks suspended in it. Prepare for some pic spamming! :P
Here are two coats of Zoya Gloria with non chip top coat under the sun. Look at the beautiful gold flecks peeking through the polish!
I also realise that I haven't done much nail art recently and believe me, I'm itching for it. Unfortunately, I still have two more exams to go and I feel guilty enough already when I turn to polishing my nails (and blogging!) for procrastination ^^;;. My last exam's on the 27th though, so I'll be delving back into nail art shortly! Oh, and check out my giveaway here, if you haven't done so already!

Harlow + top coat = ....
You get a glorious, fan-spanking-tastic result. I decided last minute to see what Harlow would look like with a top coat on it and I'm not regretting that decision at all. (You can see the original matte polish here.) Absolutely yummy. Can you see that shimmer or what?!
So what do you think, matte or glossy? Honestly, despite how the polish just comes to life with the top coat, I'm leaning more to the matte side. Mostly because I find it matches my skin tone better :).

My first Zoya!
Since it was such a cloudy day yesterday, I decided to play safe and chose a matte polish to try first. And it was no disappointment at all! :D Behold, Zoya's Harlow.
Unfortunately, my camera wasn't able to capture this shade properly so I had to edit the photo a bit to show this wonderful magenta/berry polish. Shown is two coats of Harlow and obviously no top coat. I did find the polish dried really quickly and I guess that's both a pro and con depending on how you look at it, but I think once I get used to it, it won't be too much of a problem. Now I can't wait to try out my other Zoyas :P.

Nail mail!
And who doesn't love them? :P
A little over a week ago, I went on an ebay shopping spree and the polishes finally arrived today. I'm exaggerating slightly though, shipping only took a week ^^;;. On the spree, I decided to kill a few of my Zoya lemmings and also got myself a hold of a flakey polish. Yes, flakey!!! I was super excited for this package to arrive :).
The first photo is taken in natural light indoors and the following two with flash - apparently the sun will not be hanging around much this week :(.
Essie - Sew Psyched
Nubar - Nubar 2010
OPI - Parlez-vous OPI? and Lincoln Park after dark suede
Zoya - Harlow, Crystal, Valerie, Tiffany, Gloria, Edyta
I can't wait to try these polishes out, but I think I may wait for the sun to reappear so I can wear these in their fullest glory! :D
