Christmas Candy Canes

Hey Y'all! Here is my 1st Christmas design of the year! This theme for this design is candy canes on a pretty green background with red accents.

I made the mix for this design with fine & small emerald green glitter with e,era;d & dark green iridescent green shred glitter. I also put red chunky & shred glitter in as well. Then I used NSI Radiant White acrylic to make the candy canes. I used a red acrylic glitter I made with mica powders from Coastal Scents to make the bow. I finished the design by applying the red nails art paint for the candy cane stripes.

Hope Y'all like it!

My Bday Bling

Hey y'all! I decided to do a very blingy design for my Birthday using Black and silver. I hope you all like it. I was inspired by the colors from my previous design, Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend. I hope y'all don't mind! =D

To create the design I used black acrylic mixed with black glitter, silver holographic glitter, silver mini beads, silver square chunky glitter, and silver & black hollow & solid stars.

Nail Art Through the Ages-1940's Inspired Nail Art

Hey Y'all! I recently got the opportunity to participate in a HUGE collaboration with dollface22772 on youtube! This was great fun! The theme for the collaboration was nail art through the ages. We were asked to come up with designs based on a specific decade. I requested the 1940's as my inspiration. Be sure to check out all the other fabulous designs for each era!

To create this look, I used a purple glitter mix and a lilac lace ribbon. I created a white and purple flower with a lilac swarovski crystal as the decoration. I hope you all enjoy this design!

Candy Nails with Hello Kitty Fimo

Hey y'all! this design was inspired by HelloKittyKrazy. It's another design I created for the Summer Treats series. To create this design I used yellow, pink, orange & purple glitter mixes along with a Hello Kitty fimo and a yellow & pink heart confetti to create the background. Then I used some color acrylics to create a lollipop and hard candy. Hope you enjoy!

Sweetheart Lolita

Hey Y'all! I know it's been quite some time since I last posted a new design so today I will add a few for you. I'm really really sorry but it's peak at my job and we have mandatory overtime every week and I am just exhausted!!!

Ok now the 1st design Im going to post was for a challenge by luisbalma over on youtube to recreate one of his designs. I chose one that he did with lace ribbon on the tip. Check that design out here.

For my version I used pink lace ribbon over a french manicure with pink & white hollow heart confetti, pearls and a pearl heart. I got the ribbon from Joann's, the confetti from karlinsu and the pearls from ebay.

I hope that you enjoy the design!

Black Star

OMG!!! This post is so totally late! I was trying to wait till I took pictures of the items I used but I haven't had the time. So I didn't want to wait any longer to post this design. I am soooo sorry about that. I'll be doing a haul video to update y'all on my collection additions. It's getting to be a lot so I guess it's about time.

To create this design I used the flesh colored acrylic that I made a while ago and used on the Royal Rose design. This time I added some white acylic to the mix and the results were much better looking. Still just a tad too dark for the practice finger, but perfect for me. Then I used black acrylic for the tip. I glued black tulle over the flesh acrylic to look like fishnet stockings. Next I applied gold glitter and a few stars on the tip of the nail. Next I used glue to apply hollow black stars & their centers over the fishnet and used gold ribbon to create the manicure line. After encapsulating the nail with clear acrylic, I finished the look by applying black star rhinestones over the gold ribbon. I hope you enjoy this design!

Flower Power

Hey Y'all! I've redone my nails and I wanna share the design. =) This design was inspired by designernailvideos dried flower sparkle tutorial. I really loved this design and knew I had to try it as soon as I saw it! I been wanting to try clear nails for some time now. The only thing I don't like about my version is that I applied it with the white glitter mix acrylic instead of the clear... but anyways it still looks awesome if I do say so! =D Plus I did make it thin and it's transparent so I think it turned out ok.

So on to what I used to create this design. I used about every color glitter mix I've made so far!!! =DDD {Except the yellow} I added some small round hex & shred to the orange & green and I don't have proper pics of those. I'm sorry! I was just so excited to post this design! I also used purple, pink and turquoise. Then, I used dried flowers & gold metal butterflies to decorate it. I'm not gonna post pics because the post directly before have the pictures of these mixes.

I also took a picture of each nail by itself so you can see each design =)

I really hope y'all like it! I'm so glad I tried it!

Pink Lemonade- Entry for Dollface22772's 3D Extravaganza Nail art Contest

Hey Y'all! Long time no post rite??? Well overtime has begun at my job so unfortunately I just won't be having a lot of free time to post as regularly as I like. =( I have a lot of ideas that I want to release though, so I think I'll make time to do some nails in the next couple of weeks!!!

Anyway...I created this design for Dollface22772's 3D Extravaganza Nail art Contest. I'm so sad that I didn't have enough time to make the other 3 entries! I had 2 awesome ideas for the extreme entries. I actually started one but ugh!...it just isn't coming out the way I want it to. LOL!!!! To create this design I made a yellow and a pink glitter mix and used lemon fimo slices to decorate. It is a very simple design but very very pretty! I hope you all love it!

I used a fading technique for this deign and also used minimal decorations on the nail. I think that I want to try some designs that are only embedded without 3D decorations on top. Technically, that is still 3D even though it is inlaid in the acrylic. I love the way the decorations are suspended inside the acrylic! It's just beautiful!

By the way, I know I said that I was going to stop buying glitter & nail decorations ....but ...um ...XD Yeah! This perhaps is the reason I'm so determined to get that overtime. Dam just for glitter??? YES IT'S REALLY THAT SERIOUS!!! LOL!!! So I'll be showing you all some of my recent purchases soon. Some of the stuff I have opened already but those items are basically packaged the same as other things I bought so I'll definitely reference for y'all.

Sorry it took so long to post this! Take care!

Tranquility

Hey there ladies! =D This design is my 2nd & final expert level entry to madamluck's mega nail art contest. Don't forget to try entering. The prizes are fabulous.

This design has a bit of a sad tale to it. I originally did it as a full hand mural in hand paint, but when I was converting the video files...I accidentally deleted half of them! So I guess I should just stick with the 3d nail art designs then =P Here's a picture of the full hand mural just so you can see.

For this design I used several color acrylics that I mixed myself. You'll find the video tutorial is on the tips & trix page. I used light & dark blue to create the water background. Then I created a Koi fish with white acrylic. I used forest green acrylic to create a lily pad and a mix of white, light pink and dark pink to make the water lily. I also used some small round holographic glitters on the Koi fish to look like scales.

I know this design isn't for everyone and it's not really something I would necessarily wear. {Well I might} I wanted to create a design that was very unique and artistic. I hope that you ladies enjoy!
