Kiss Me!

Hey Y'all! This is my 1st entry to Configure1973's Valentine's Nail Art Contest. She is allowing 2 entries so I have done one more as well, so stay tuned for that!

For this design I wanted to do something really different so I decided to create lips puckered for a kiss. It didn't turn out quite as well as I wanted because the french manicure was messy. But I figured out a way to correct that mistake for next time.

The products I used for this design were red glitter & white glitter acrylics that I mixed myself. Clear Acrylic and a rhinestone. I have finished the tutorial so please enjoy! Check out Configure1973's youtube page for more info on the contest and some great tutorials!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Queen of Hearts {entry for Dollface22772's nail art contest}

Hey Y'all! Here is my most recent contest entry to Dollface22772's Alice in Wonderland nail art contest. Be sure to check out her you tube channel she has great designs! And check out her blog while you're at it ;^)

Whenever I think of that story the Queen of Hearts always comes to mind. Being that it's almost Valentine's day I just couldn't resist creating a heart themed entry.I really love the way that the design turned out.

For this design I created a french manicure with Barely Legal polish from Sinful colors and Kaleidescope glitter polish from Wet n' Wild. I also used silver and silver glitter nail art polish to make the manicure line. All of these polishes I got from my local drug store and I got the nail art stripers at the local Beauty Mart. {AKA hair store =)}

Then I created the hearts with red and black glitter acrylics. I got the acrylics and the nail art sculpting brush set from Maytheps Ebay store. I didn't really like the way that it looked until...I added my favorite silver mini beads!!! LOL As you know I purchased them from karlinsu88nailexpert ebay store.

Hope you like this design and here are a few pictures.

And finally a full hand tutorial! Sorry it took so long to get to this point. Take care y'all. More Valentine's day designs coming up shortly!

Valentine's Day Carnival

Posted by Picasa

Hey Y'all! This is my 2nd Valentine's Day 3D nail art tutorial.

For this design I actually did all the acrylic work myself. I used 4 glitter acrylics that I mixed myself! I learned how to mix from myglitternails channel on youtube.

I also sculpted the hearts with red and black glitter acrylic. I then outlined the hearts with silver mini beads I purchased from karlinsu88nailexpert ebay store. And to finish off the look I used metallic heart confetti from Michael's craft store.

I have also completed another design I did on myself that I will be entering into a contest in a couple of days. Stay tuned because it is a full hand tutorial with 5 variations of the design! I'm very excited!

I'm getting ready for a very busy week! Take care till next time! Enjoy the tutorial.

Fancy French Manicure tutorial

Hey Y'all! Im sorry I totally forgot to post this!

Here's the full tutorial for this easy classic design with a bit of elegance. For this design the decorations I used were small white bows which I got from RHINESTONES AND CRAFTS and white lace stickers that I got from Tamanala.

I've been experimenting with acrylics and mixing them with glitter and have had some great results! I can't wait to get started!!!

Stay tuned for some cute Valentine's day designs I have in mind to do over the weekend. Plus, it's time to do my nails over so I'll be posting a full hand tutorial over the next week as well!

Fancy Classic French Manicure

Hey Yall! Today I wanted to show you the design I am curently wearing on my nails. Since I was going for surgery and have been pretty sick I didn't really have the energy to do anything to fancy. I decided that I wanted a french manicure. Also a coworker of mine gave me a french manicure gift set so I wanted to try it out.

For this design I used lace stickers and a small white bow on each finger as decorations. The design was very easy to do and is very elegant. The decorations I used for this were purchased by me from Ebay.

On another note, I have been asked by the creator of 3D nail art molds to make some tutorial videos for their Nail art molds! I am very happy about this recent development. He will be sending me a couple of molds to make some tutorials for. Hopefully this will be the start of something great and Im hoping to talk him into possibly sponsoring a contest so I'll keep y'all posted about that. Be sure to check out the site they have all of the latest designs!

I'll be posting the tutorial for this design very soon. It'll be back to work for me later this week so bear with me while I get back into the swing of things. Take care!

Violets are Blue Valentines 3D Nail Art Tutorial

Hey Yall! I just finished my 1st Valentines Day 3D nail art tutorial. I''m so excited because it is also my 1st tutorial using the 3D nail art molds I recently purchased from Noxandra's ebay store!

These molds are only $1.99 and the retail price is $19.99!!! I have seen them on Etsy for about $15.00 and USA beauty Supplies has them for around $6.00.

For this design I used the double hearts mold with the colors turquoise & purple. I also used 2 glitters and a fading effect with turquoise & purple for the backround. I didn't get too fancy just yet but i will!

A quick update I purchased some acrylic supplies and I will be doing my own nails from now on. I will be experimenting with glitter tips and all kinds of different things so stay tuned. This year is gonna be great!

Leopard French Nail Art Tutorial

For this design I only used one decoration which I purchased from Ebay. This video demonstrates how to create a Leopard print pattern easily. I simply added a light blue rose decoration to add a bit of elegance.

Leopard French

Posted by Picasa

Hey Y'all. I'm sorry it's been a minute since my last post. Unfortunately, I've very ill and just haven't had the energy. Due to that fact I'll be postponing my 1st contest. I'm not sure when I'll be at 100%, so my posts may be irregular for the next few weeks but I'll back soon enough.

I do have a few designs I have been working on. So for my 1st design of 2010 Ive done a very elegant Leopard French manicure with a Rose decoration. Stay tuned for the full tutorial.

pedicure nail art

They’re not yet on the brand website, but Sally Hansen Nail Art Pens have been popping up in random Walgreens stores and generating quite a buzz. Available in 8 colors (white, black, light pink, hot pink, blue, red, silver and gold), these markers are $7.99 each and make nail art a breeze, thanks to the water-based formula.

Embrace your inner polish Picasso and doodle all over your manicure. Mistakes can be easily corrected with a moist Q-tip and some patience. But because the formula is water-based, you must seal your manicure masterpiece with a top coat - or all of your hard work will have been for naught.

So keep your eyes peeled next time you’re at the drugstore or supermarket. And if you live/work near a Walgreens, by all means start your sleuthing there. I’m hoping to get my hands on these stylos, so expect a formal review soon!
