Random nail art with nail stickers~

Hey everyone~^^ I was feeling really random the other day and so tried out some of the nail stickers I received from Born Pretty Store awhile ago.

I applied two coats of Misa Office polish-tics on to my fourth finger and OPI Siberian nights on to my other nails. The flower nail stickers were randomly stuck on and I added a rhinestone to my middle finger. I used the bullion beads to make a design around a pearl before sealing them all with a top coat. I'm not sure I like this, but I don't hate it.

The nail stickers held on well for the 1 1/2 day I had this manicure. The bullion beads however, didn't stay on for long. By the end of the first day, some of them had already fallen off. I'm not sure if it's my lack of experience with them which affected this though, so I might review them again another time.

Checked out my Thank you-Sorry giveaway :) here yet? ^^

All hands on deck!

Hello~ One of my major lemmings from China Glaze's Anchors Away collection was Below deck. Dubbed as the dupe to Channelesque, I knew I just had to have it. While nail bloggers have compared the two and declared them as very-similar-but-not-quite-dupes, I think I'm satisfied with Below deck anyway :).

This is two coats of Below deck and no top coat. What a gorgeous and shiny polish <3. My love affair with purples will never die, haha.
below deck1

I layered on one coat of White cap to see what it'd look like. Pretty, but I think there are better combos out there (yeah, I'm looking at you Sew psyched... :P).

Beautiful, squishy jelly

Hello everyone~ I'm back and pumped from camp now woohoo :).

I wore what I'm now going to call the most beautiful layering of all time to camp. This is two coats of China Glaze First mate layered with one coat of OPI Last friday night. The combo reminds me of Deborah Lippmann's Across the Universe but they're not dupes. They're similar-ish but no go at the duping. Comparing with swatches though, I'd say I love this layering that little bit more than ATU hehe.

This is what LFN looks like under weak sunlight. I seriously could not stop staring at my nails the whole time at camp, they were that gorgeous. And I was at camp for five days so that's really saying something... :D

Just because the wear was magnificent, here's what it looked like after five days at camp, totalling to seven days of wear. I did file my nails down before camp to lower chances of breakages (none, yay!) and you can see that besides nail growth, there's no chipping or tip wear. How's that for a perfect mani? :D

Sailing off into the sunset~

Hello~ Lol, cheesy title, I know :P. When I first saw swatches of China Glaze's Anchors Away collection, Sunset sail was not one of those polishes which drew me in. However, after seeing more and more swatches of it, I decided to purchase it and try it out since I don't have many polishes in this shade.

Shown is two coats of Sunset sail. While this may not be a polish I will normally pick up, I ended up quite liking it :) It has a beautiful soft shimmer throughout which makes the polish look more exciting.

Born Pretty Store pretties

Hello~ This is a scheduled post, as you read this I'm probably on my way to camp for the long weekend :). I'm excited to say that I recently received some products from Born Pretty Store to review. The online store is dedicated to stocking mani nail art and other nail related items. They also stock beauty and make up related items so do check it out if you're interested :)

The products I received are:
12 Color 3D Steel Ball Nail Art Glitter Decoration
10 x Flower 3D Nail Art Tips Decals Stickers Manicure
Glitter Silver Line Nail Art Tip Decoration Striping Tape Glue

born pretty store1

born pretty store2

I thought I'd try out the striping tape first and here's my result. The base polish is China Glaze Wagon trail. Top picture was taken indoors under natural light, the second under the sun. I quite liked how the striping tape added something more to my mani although you can see my inexperience by the dodgy cutting haha. The striping tape stayed on quite well for the two days I wore this mani. I love that they are so simple to use once you're more used to them, I think I'll be ordering some more!

The above product was provided to me for a review. This has in no way influenced my opinion and I have stated my honest thoughts on the product. For more information, please see my disclosure policy.

Have you checked out my Thank you-Sorry giveaway :) here yet?

NOTD: Metallic Decals

Hi Everyone,

a friend sent me some metallic decals to try on, and i must say they ROCK. it's a must have and you gotta have to try them all. they're not just beautiful, they're also easy to use. words can't explain how gorgeous the decal was (and so does the camera damn).
i applied 2 coats of Rainbow Nail Color. its a tan colored polish with holographic effect. i simply love this polish. it matches my skin tone and i love the holo effect (my camera sucks. can't show the effect damn)
then applied a leaf styled metallic decal (isn't it gorgeous?)
and to spice it up a bit, i used my F xl plate to add a flower. (can you see the peacock feather that i'm holding on? so cute)
so that's it for today hope you liked it.

Here today...Aragon tomorrow

Hello everyone~ :) I've been on a layering kick lately and have found some beautiful combos one of which I will share today. OPI Here today...Aragon tomorrow was one of my first OPI purchases waaay back in September last year and I can't believe I have never worn it as a full mani before!

Shown is two coats of HTAT with no top coat. It's a really dark mossy green and looks almost black in dimmer lightings.
here today, aragon tomorrow1

I then layered on one coat of Nubar 2010 and darn it, look at the squishy jelly <33. It's really surprising for me since I'm not normally a jelly fan but I loooove how this mani turned out.

And a magnificent macro of the final outcome. HTAT came out almost black here but trust me, the green definitely shows up in real life.

Review: Office Polish-tics

Hello~ :) I'm sneaking in a quick break before diving back into my pile of assignments lol. I wore Misa Office polish-tics a couple of weeks ago whilst on my prac and since it lasted for the week, I thought I'd write up another quick review.

This is two coats of Office polish-tics and I think the photo was taken on the third day of wear. As you can see, no chips or tip wear :D. This lasted until the fifth day when I finally took it off. The polish was slightly thicker than normal, but not thick enough to worry about.

Yet another work appropriate polish to add to my favourites list :). Oh and don't forget about my Thank you-Sorry giveaway here!

Notd: All about Summer

Hello Everyone,

it's been a long time since i updated my blog but now i'm back and woot i was surprised to finally reach 50 followers. yahuu. maybe in few months time i'll be having a giveaway still got a lot of stuffs to fix. so anyway for today i wanted to share my work. i actually made it a week ago but due to a tight and busy schedule, have no time to share it.

Got really short nails so i extended my nails a bit using acryic extensions. i did different designs for my left and right finger nails.

here's an overlook on how my nails looks like:
on my left finger nails: i did a beach inspired design. i miss the beach a lot we usually spend the summer swimming only on a pool, beaches was way too far from us (and that was so sad) i used 3d molds for the designs.don't you love those shells and underwater creatures?
on my right finger nails: i did a yummy sweet inspired design. during summer i really love eating ice creams and sweets (oh no carbs) but that's how summer works for me. summer with out yummy ice creams is boring (for me) LOL

so that's it for today. hope you liked my work.
thanks for reading
