Flower Power

Hey Y'all! I've redone my nails and I wanna share the design. =) This design was inspired by designernailvideos dried flower sparkle tutorial. I really loved this design and knew I had to try it as soon as I saw it! I been wanting to try clear nails for some time now. The only thing I don't like about my version is that I applied it with the white glitter mix acrylic instead of the clear... but anyways it still looks awesome if I do say so! =D Plus I did make it thin and it's transparent so I think it turned out ok.

So on to what I used to create this design. I used about every color glitter mix I've made so far!!! =DDD {Except the yellow} I added some small round hex & shred to the orange & green and I don't have proper pics of those. I'm sorry! I was just so excited to post this design! I also used purple, pink and turquoise. Then, I used dried flowers & gold metal butterflies to decorate it. I'm not gonna post pics because the post directly before have the pictures of these mixes.

I also took a picture of each nail by itself so you can see each design =)

I really hope y'all like it! I'm so glad I tried it!

Salt Water Taffy

Hey Ladies! This design was inspired by a design I did last summer. It was my very first nail art videos I ever posted! At that time, I had 3 subbies. I can't believe it!!! I'm so glad that I started posting videos since then because I have learned so much!

For this design I used 3 glitter mixes in purple, pink and turquoise. I also used holographic discs and nail art stripers in the same colors.

I hope y'all love it! Well finally all of my things that I've been ordering have arrived so I'll be doing a small update to the collection page and a haul post. So look forward to that! Have a great week ladies! Much more to come =D

Cotton Candy

Hey Y'all! The following design was created for another nail contest entry. This contest is totally fabulous and I really would love to win because the prizes are spectacular! Designernailvideos is holding the contest and she is giving away a lot of the products she carries in her online store called Designer Nail Supply. Be sure to check it out because she has everything you need to create great nail art!

The discs were the only decorations I used on this design. As I said in my previous post, I do want to try design that are just inlaid without decorations on top. Don't worry though...there'll be more 3D designs! I got some more small nail art brushes that I wanna try because the ones from A.C. Moore are just a little too long =( But, I digress. I used a purple and a pink glitter mix for the background. I left some areas of the nail bare and placeed the discs in those areas. The I accented the bare areas with nail art stiper paint with lines and dots. Enjoy!

This design was inspired by nail art created by Amy Blair. She has a Nail Art blog where she showcases design she creates for her clients. I absolutely adore her style! Her nail art is so funky and unique. She does mostly inlaid nail art, which is quickly becoming my all time favorite. I also love the designs she does with holographic discs that are so fabulous. I found some at EZ Nails and they arrived just in time for me to try them in this entry.

Pink Lemonade- Entry for Dollface22772's 3D Extravaganza Nail art Contest

Hey Y'all! Long time no post rite??? Well overtime has begun at my job so unfortunately I just won't be having a lot of free time to post as regularly as I like. =( I have a lot of ideas that I want to release though, so I think I'll make time to do some nails in the next couple of weeks!!!

Anyway...I created this design for Dollface22772's 3D Extravaganza Nail art Contest. I'm so sad that I didn't have enough time to make the other 3 entries! I had 2 awesome ideas for the extreme entries. I actually started one but ugh!...it just isn't coming out the way I want it to. LOL!!!! To create this design I made a yellow and a pink glitter mix and used lemon fimo slices to decorate. It is a very simple design but very very pretty! I hope you all love it!

I used a fading technique for this deign and also used minimal decorations on the nail. I think that I want to try some designs that are only embedded without 3D decorations on top. Technically, that is still 3D even though it is inlaid in the acrylic. I love the way the decorations are suspended inside the acrylic! It's just beautiful!

By the way, I know I said that I was going to stop buying glitter & nail decorations ....but ...um ...XD Yeah! This perhaps is the reason I'm so determined to get that overtime. Dam just for glitter??? YES IT'S REALLY THAT SERIOUS!!! LOL!!! So I'll be showing you all some of my recent purchases soon. Some of the stuff I have opened already but those items are basically packaged the same as other things I bought so I'll definitely reference for y'all.

Sorry it took so long to post this! Take care!
